Great Strides Rehabilitation, an H2 Health company, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) to join our growing outpatient pediatric team in Roanoke, Virginia. Join a multidisciplinary team that is passionate about helping children reach meaningful developmental milestones. Working alongside speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, ABA professionals, and other pediatric specialists, you'll provide individualized care that empowers children and supports families throughout their therapy journey.
Your Role:
Evaluate and treat infants, children, and adolescents with a variety of orthopedic, neurological, developmental, and neuromuscular conditions.
Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans designed to improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, endurance, and functional independence.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, physicians, educators, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive patient-centered care.
Educate parents and caregivers on home exercise programs and strategies to reinforce progress outside of therapy sessions.
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation using AI-powered documentation technology designed to reduce administrative burden.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on functional outcomes and clinical goals.
Foster a positive, engaging, and supportive environment that encourages children to reach their fullest potential.
Requirements
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent legacy degree (MSPT, MPT, or BPT) from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
Current Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain as required.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Passion for pediatric rehabilitation and delivering family-centered care.
New graduates and experienced physical therapists are encouraged to apply.
