If this sounds like a place you’d like to spend the next chapter of your career, we’d love to hear from you. </p></div><p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p> <p>The Payroll Associate ensures timely and accurate payroll processing and assists with payroll-related reporting and compliance.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Process semi-monthly payroll for U.S. (multi-state), Canada, and international employees,  ensuring compliance with country, federal, and state regulations.</li> <li>Review and verify timesheets, earnings, and deductions.</li> <li>Respond to and support employees on payroll inquiries, providing clear explanations and resolving issues promptly.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Collaborate with the HR department to process new hires, terminations, and compensation adjustments.</li> <li>Maintain payroll records and ensure data accuracy.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Prepare payroll reconciliations for benefits.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll regulations.</li> <li>Assist with special payroll projects, including year-end reporting, system upgrades, and process improvements.</li> <li>Prepare month-end reconciliations of payroll-related general ledger accounts in our accounting system to the payroll system.</li> <li>Identify and explain variances in payroll accounts month to month & quarter to quarter </li> <li>Responsible for keeping payroll policies and flowcharts current </li> <li>Generate and analyze payroll reports to support finance, tax filings, and compliance audits.</li> <li>Lead in year-end payroll activities, including the preparation and distribution of W-2s or other tax forms as well as year-end reconciliations.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Associate’s degree or 2+ years of payroll experience.</li> <li>Working knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.</li> <li>Experience with payroll systems such as UKG.</li> <li>Experience processing multi-state, Canadian, or international payroll is a plus. </li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills and Competencies</strong></p> <ul> <li>Analytical and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>In-depth understanding of payroll processes.</li> <li>Ability to process accurate data while meeting deadlines.</li> <li>Ability to handle confidential information.</li> <li>Ability to communicate effectively with employees, HR, Finance, and external agencies. </li> <li>Strong Excel skills.</li> </ul> <p>The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $75,000 + bonus + benefits </p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>ABOUT EXTRAHOP</strong><strong><br></strong></p> <p>ExtraHop is reinventing Network Detection and Response (NDR) to offer enterprises unparalleled visibility, context, and control against emerging threats.
