This role is responsible for managing the hourly employee payroll population across multiple entities in a multi-state environment and serving as backup support for the exempt payroll population as needed.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> <strong>Please note this is a full-time, temporary, 12-month position.</strong></span></p> <p><span data-contrast="none">This position partners closely with the Payroll Manager, People Team, Finance, and external providers to deliver a seamless payroll experience while maintaining strong attention to compliance and detail.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></p> </div> <div> <h3><strong>How You'll Make An Impact</strong></h3> <div> <ul> <li>Payroll Operations & Processing   <ul> <li>Lead the end-to-end payroll processing for the hourly employee population across two U.S. entities. </li> <li>Validate timecards, overtime calculations, and applicable wage/hour rules. </li> <li>Ensure accurate processing of wages, bonuses, adjustments, and benefit deductions. </li> <li>Review payroll reports and perform detailed audits to identify and resolve discrepancies prior to finalization. </li> <li>Support payroll processing for exempt employees as backup coverage when needed. </li> <li>Assist with payroll reconciliations and support year-end activities (e.g., W-2 review and validation). </li> </ul> </li> <li>Compliance & Tax Administration   <ul> <li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations impacting hourly employees. </li> <li>Support proper tax setup and maintenance under guidance of Payroll Manager. </li> <li>Assist in responding to payroll-related inquiries and documentation requests. </li> <li>Maintain accurate payroll records and audit documentation.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Employee & Stakeholder Support  <ul> <li>Serve as a primary point of contact for hourly employee payroll inquiries. </li> <li>Address questions related to pay, time tracking, and overtime deductions. </li> <li>Partner with HR and Finance to ensure payroll data accuracy and alignment. </li> </ul> </li> <li>Systems, Reporting & Vendor Management  <ul> <li>Utilize Workday and related systems to process and audit payroll data. </li> <li>Generate payroll reports for internal stakeholders as requested. </li> <li>Support data integrity initiatives and system updates under direction of Payroll Manager. </li> </ul> </li> <li>Continuous Improvement & Projects  <ul> <li>Identify process improvement opportunities within payroll workflows. </li> <li>Support implementation of payroll process enhancements. </li> <li>Stay current on wage and hour regulations affecting multi-state hourly populations. </li> <li>Other projects as needed</li> </ul> </li> </ul> </div> <h3><strong>The Expertise Required</strong></h3> <div> <ul> <li>Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll processing, particularly wage and hour compliance. </li> <li>Experience managing hourly payroll populations with complex timekeeping. </li> <li>Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with high attention to detail. </li> <li>Proficiency in payroll systems and HRIS platforms (Workday preferred). </li> <li>Advanced Excel skills…
