About this role
The Partner Development Manager plays a critical role in advancing partner capabilities by overseeing enablement programs, onboarding processes, governance frameworks, and operational preparedness across ZainTECH’s partner network. The position is focused on accelerating the growth of Tier 2 partners through structured development initiatives while ensuring Tier 3 partners are successfully integrated, aligned, and equipped to meet organizational standards. Through continuous engagement and support, the role contributes to building a strong, capable, and sustainable partner ecosystem.
In close collaboration with Product, Technical, Delivery, Operations, and Alliances teams, the Partner Development Manager ensures partners maintain the necessary certifications, competencies, compliance requirements, and documentation standards. The role is responsible for driving operational alignment and readiness across partners to effectively deliver ZainTECH’s cloud, cybersecurity, digital, and technology solutions. By promoting consistent governance and scalable operational practices, the position helps enhance partner maturity and long-term ecosystem effectiveness across the region.
Responsibilities:
Tier 2 Partner Enablement & Build Motion
Lead end-to-end readiness and Build Motion activities for Tier 2 partners
Define, maintain, and optimize partner lifecycle stages and enablement processes
Drive partner capability development, certification progression, and specialization attainment
Translate vendor and partner program requirements into structured enablement and readiness plans
Coordinate with Product, Technical, Delivery, and Operations teams to ensure partner alignment and operational readiness
Maintain accurate partner documentation related to Certifications, Competencies, Readiness status, Ownership mapping, Specializations
Lead and coordinate partnership renewals for Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, and Marketplace-only ISV partners
Support vendor program applications, follow-ups, and compliance alignment
Own Rhythm of Business activities including Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs)
for Tier 2 partners
Tier 3 Partner Governance & Process Standardization
Support Tier 3 partner onboarding processes including Intake management, Documentation validation, Readiness assessments, Governance alignment
Design and maintain governance workflows, templates, standards, and compliance processes
Ensure operational hygiene and documentation completeness across the long-tail partner ecosystem
Support internal teams during onboarding and governance escalations
Identify opportunities to improve automation, efficiency, and scalability across partner workflows and governance processes
Cross-Tier Ecosystem Coordination
Maintain operational alignment across Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 partner processes
Provide ecosystem visibility across Capabilities, Certifications, Ownership structures, Readiness posture, Governance status
Identify operational risks, capability gaps, and improvement opportunities across the partner ecosystem
Support ecosystem-wide specialization tracking, renewals, and governance alignment initiatives
Contribute to the continuous improvement of partner management frameworks and operational standards
Requirements
Proven experience in partner management, alliances, ecosystem development, and vendor management within cloud, cybersecurity, digital, or technology environments.
Experience working with partner ecosystems to drive enablement, governance, and operational readiness initiatives.
Demonstrated experience collaborating with Product, Technical, Delivery, and Operations teams to achieve business objectives.
Strong understanding of partner certifications, competencies, specializations, and partner governance frameworks.
Knowledge of partner lifecycle management, enablement programs, and ecosystem development practices.
Familiarity with vendor partner programs, compliance requirements, and operational governance processes.
Strong process design, governance, and documentation management capabilities.
Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive execution across diverse partner portfolios.
Experience managing dashboards, reporting tools, and readiness tracking activities.
Ability to monitor partner performance metrics and maintain accurate operational records.
Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and business review management.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
