About the Role
A well-established financial services business based in Somerset West is looking for a sharp, newly-qualified CA(SA) / CGMA to step into a fractional Financial Manager capacity. This is an ideal first post-articles opportunity for someone who wants real financial management exposure.
You'll take ownership of the financial function on a part-time, hybrid basis, working directly with senior leadership to deliver management accounts, drive financial reporting, and support operational decision-making.

What You'll Do
Prepare and present monthly management accounts
Oversee month-end close processes and reconciliations
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Liaise with external auditors and service providers
Identify process improvements and implement controls where needed
Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting to leadership
Requirements
What We're Looking For
Newly qualified CA(SA) / CGMA - fresh out of articles
Strong technical accounting foundation with practical experience gained during articles
Ability to work independently and manage priorities with limited oversight
Comfortable in a hybrid, part-time structure
Somerset West-based or able to commute without issue
Excellent communication skills
