<p><strong>EBANX</strong>, we connect global merchants to millions of consumers in emerging markets. Moving money across borders requires massive operational coordination across Revenue, Compliance, Engineering, Product and Operations.</p> <p>We’re hiring an <strong>AI Solutions Engineer</strong> for our Operations Transformation team. You won't be writing isolated code in a vacuum. Instead, you will embed directly with our core ops teams, shadow their workflows, pinpoint bottlenecks, and build the AI-driven automations and internal tools they need to run EBANX efficiently.</p> <p>Our environment bridges two worlds: you will design high-velocity, asynchronous AI systems in modern <strong>TypeScript/Node.js</strong>, while safely reading from and optimizing our robust, legacy operational core built on <strong>PHP</strong>. We need a pragmatic builder who respects legacy systems for the revenue they drive and knows how to leverage modernization without breaking the business.</p> <p></p> <h3 class="PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer" data-section-id="11cevo4" data-start="474" data-end="513">What your day-to-day will look like</h3> <ul data-start="515" data-end="1411"> <li data-section-id="1qzfan5" data-start="515" data-end="688">Partner closely with Operations teams to understand workflows, identify pain points, and design AI-powered solutions that improve efficiency and automate manual processes.</li> <li data-section-id="146uyeg" data-start="689" data-end="853">Design and develop scalable backend services and AI orchestration workflows using modern technologies, integrating LLMs, legacy systems, APIs, and data pipelines.</li> <li data-section-id="1avu9ce" data-start="854" data-end="986">Build internal operational tools and dashboards that provide real-time visibility into AI-driven decisions and business processes.</li> <li data-section-id="185hede" data-start="987" data-end="1123">Develop secure integrations with legacy and modern architectures, ensuring reliable data flows across payment and operational systems.</li> <li data-section-id="1blnsab" data-start="1124" data-end="1274">Monitor solution performance, API usage, model latency, and operational metrics while continuously improving reliability, scalability, and security.</li> <li data-section-id="91zpqf" data-start="1275" data-end="1411">Collaborate with cross-functional teams to rapidly prototype, validate, and deploy solutions that generate measurable business impact.</li> </ul> <h3 data-section-id="w7gaia" data-start="1413" data-end="1452">What you need to shine in this role</h3> <ul data-start="1454" data-end="2321"> <li data-section-id="1813iye" data-start="1454" data-end="1554">3–5 years of experience in Software Engineering, Full Stack Development, or Solution Architecture.</li> <li data-section-id="1s76gzp" data-start="1555" data-end="1686">Strong experience with TypeScript/Node.js and the ability to work with object-oriented PHP applications and legacy architectures.</li> <li data-section-id="6hkiod" data-start="1687" data-end="1833">Hands-on experience building AI-enabled applications using LLM APIs, function calling, semantic routing, RAG architectures, or vector databases.</li> <li data-section-id="166mb44" data-start="1834" data-end="1953">Solid knowledge of SQL, API design, cloud-native architectures, serverless services, and secure integration patterns.</li> <li data-section-id="11al0ve" data-start="1954" data-end="2072">Experience building internal products, automation tools, or operational platforms that improved business efficiency.</li> <li data-section-id="dbke8z" data-start="2073" data-end="2214">Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguous requirements and collaborate directly with non-technical stakeholders.</li> <li data-section-id="azf8kv" data-start="2215" data-end="2321">Experience working in Agile environments and delivering solutions with a strong business-impact mindset.</li> </ul> <h3 data-section-id="3ghd7u" data-start="2323" data-end="2351">Bonus points if you have</h3> <ul data-start="2353" data-end="2923"> <li data-section-id="1omm8rh" data-start="2353" data-end="2468">Experience in fintech, payments, banking, reconciliation, or highly regulated environments (PCI-DSS, LGPD, GDPR).</li> <li data-section-id="d1uba8" data-start="2469" data-end="2577">Familiarity with Retool, Superblocks, Streamlit, Airflow, n8n, Make, Docker, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.</li> <li data-section-id="c6auqp" data-start="2578" data-end="2717">Experience integrating modern microservices with legacy monolithic systems and exposing legacy capabilities through REST or GraphQL APIs.</li> <li data-section-id="1049qyq" data-start="2718" data-end="2824">Knowledge of observability, telemetry, AI cost optimization, and monitoring for production AI workloads.</li> <li data-section-id="o9pvwq" data-start="2825" data-end="2923">Passion for rapidly…
