Our headquarters are located in San Francisco and we have additional offices in Knoxville, TN and New York City with employees working remotely in AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, LA, MA, MN, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WA, D.C. All employees are required to have permanent residency in one of these states. Candidates who are willing to relocate are also encouraged to apply.

Candidates based in the Bay Area, New York City, and Knoxville, Tennessee will be give priority consideration. For these locations, the position will follow a hybrid work model, with 3 days per week in office and the remaining days working from home.

Job Title: Operations Manager

Location: New York (This role is based in our New York office and requires a hybrid work schedule)

Overview:

The Operations Manager will lead and deploy customer agreements across our life science portfolio. This individual will own management and coordination of critical projects and work plans, delivery progress, and customer relationships. In addition, the Operations Manager will lead initiatives to improve and streamline our internal operations across the company.

A primary area of focus will be identification of critical dependencies and bottlenecks and driving successful execution across multiple departments. The ability to understand and manage complex processes, prioritize work, communicate effectively, and align multiple stakeholders will lead to success.

Key Responsibilities and Impact:

• Delivery Operations: Own complex projects and deliverables, leading internal and external coordination efforts throughout the delivery lifecycle. Ensure successful delivery of RWD products and services.

• Project Management: Independently manage multiple projects by leveraging various project management tools. Develop work plans and drive towards stated goals, leading oversight and execution efforts. Track progress, mitigate risk, and resolve issues.

• Problem Solving: Lead independent and cross-functional initiatives to resolve complex issues efficiently. Proactively identify bottlenecks, develop data-driven solutions, and oversee seamless deployment to ensure operational continuity.

• Process Improvement and Operational Scaling: Identify opportunities to improve processes and streamline internal operations, collaborating cross-functionally to structure, measure, execute, and scale. Drive knowledge and adoption at multiple levels of the organization.

• Cross Functional Collaboration: Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders. Lead and inspire cross-functional teams internally and achieve consistency in alignment on goals, status, required actions, and impact.

• Thought Leadership: Contribute to thought leadership for the development and refinement of product offerings across Verana’s customer segments
