The instructor develops students' ability to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risk in complex and dynamic mission environments through classroom instruction, mentorship, and performance-based assessments.</span></p> <p class="isSelectedEnd"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">In addition to instructional duties, the ORMC Instructor supports the continuous improvement of the program through curriculum development, lesson plan refinement, course evaluations, and instructor qualification efforts. The instructor collaborates with Government personnel and fellow instructors to ensure course content remains operationally relevant, technically accurate, and aligned with current Special Operations requirements and training objective</span><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"></span></p> <h3><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><u>Responsibilities:</u></span></h3> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Deliver platform instruction as the Primary Instructor (PI) or Assistant Instructor in support of the approved ORMC Program of Instruction (POI).</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Facilitate classroom instruction, guided discussions, practical exercises (PEs), and performance evaluations in accordance with approved course standards.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Serve as a mentor, coach, and evaluator during Government-led practical exercises and student assessments.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Grade student performance and testing events in accordance with the Individual Student Assessment Plan and established grading criteria.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Conduct student counseling sessions regarding academic performance, practical exercise execution, and course progression.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all ORMC instructional material, learning objectives, and practical exercise requirements.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Support Operational Risk Management instruction and subject matter expertise for related programs, including Advanced Special Operations Training Course (ASOTC) and Advanced Special Operations Techniques Managers Course (ASOTMC), as required.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Participate in course reviews, after-action reviews (AARs), curriculum updates, and professional development activities between training cycles.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"></span></p> <h3><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><u>Qualifications:</u></span></h3> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;" data-start="19" data-end="159"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Completion of the New Instructor Candidate Program (NICP) or equivalent Government-approved instructor qualification…
