For more information, please visit <a href="https://www.chaosinc.com">www.chaosinc.com</a>.</p> <p><strong>Role Overview:&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>We’re&nbsp;looking for a driven, organized, and proactive Office Manager to lead&nbsp;operations in our San Francisco office. As the primary onsite point of contact,&nbsp;you’ll&nbsp;play a critical role in shaping the employee experience while ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently.&nbsp;</p> <p>We&nbsp;aren’t&nbsp;simply looking for someone to stock the snacks—we need someone who deeply understands people and what they need to&nbsp;succeed, and&nbsp;isn’t&nbsp;afraid to wear many hats. This means proactively taking on&nbsp;big&nbsp;projects (e.g.&nbsp;designing new&nbsp;parts of the office and creating procedures for a scaling business)&nbsp;as well as small (e.g.&nbsp;the&nbsp;never-ending&nbsp;fight to stay organized).&nbsp;As the face of the office, you&nbsp;will&nbsp;be responsible for&nbsp;ensuring teams&nbsp;have&nbsp;the supplies, spaces, and experiences they need to deliver on our mission.&nbsp;Additionally,&nbsp;you’ll&nbsp;be deeply embedded in recruiting operations&nbsp;and&nbsp;onsite coordination&nbsp;for external&nbsp;guests, and&nbsp;will&nbsp;provide light administrative&nbsp;support.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>This role could make sense for you if:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>You thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment and enjoy wearing many hats&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>You love thinking about the&nbsp;little things&nbsp;that others&nbsp;don’t&nbsp;realize make&nbsp;a big difference&nbsp;(hiding a cable here, adding a sign there...)&nbsp;</li> <li>You have&nbsp;strong communication&nbsp;and organizational skills, and are comfortable working both independently and&nbsp;with others&nbsp;</li> <li>You enjoy interacting with people and creating a welcoming, professional environment&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>You’re&nbsp;proactive and take ownership without needing direction&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>You have strong judgment when handling sensitive or confidential information&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>You’re&nbsp;familiar with the San Francisco area and local vendors/resources&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own day-to-day operations of the San Francisco office&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Maintain a clean&nbsp;and well-functioning workspace&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Build and improve systems for office operations, onboarding, and vendor management&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Partner with IT on onsite setup, equipment, and installations&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Maintain office security protocols and ensure safe handling of company assets&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Serve as the main point of contact at the front desk&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Greet and check in all visitors, candidates, and external partners&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Plan and host events both internally and for external visitors/investors&nbsp;</li> <li>Ensure a seamless and professional onsite experience&nbsp;for candidates&nbsp;</li> <li>Monitor the facilities and coordinate repairs/requests with building management&nbsp;</li> <li>Be&nbsp;prepared&nbsp;to&nbsp;coordinate future office moves&nbsp;</li> <li>Provide light calendar management and scheduling support&nbsp;to&nbsp;our&nbsp;SF lead&nbsp;</li> <li>Partner with&nbsp;Recruiting on&nbsp;logistics&nbsp;for&nbsp;onsite candidates&nbsp;</li> <li>Help foster a positive, engaging, and high-energy office culture&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Minimum Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proven experience as an office manager&nbsp;or coordinator, including in a startup environment (aerospace or defense a plus)&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong experience serving in a multi-pronged role requiring ability to seamlessly switch gears at a moments’ notice&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience managing facility&nbsp;logistics; preferably with new office/location move-ins and rollouts&nbsp;</li> <li>Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong communication&nbsp;and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Proficient in office software and productivity tools (Microsoft Office suite)&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to take…
