We are seeking a <strong>SLPA </strong>for a <strong data-start="107" data-end="142"> K-12 assignments</strong>— because a group of energetic elementary students are waiting for someone who knows their <strong data-start="234" data-end="275">/r/ sounds from their recess stories.</strong></p> <p> </p> <p data-start="277" data-end="468">If you can:<br data-start="288" data-end="291">✔ Turn speech therapy into a game<br data-start="324" data-end="327">✔ Survive telling a 2nd grader “let’s try that sound again” 14 times<br data-start="395" data-end="398">✔ Handle knock-knock jokes and random dinosaur facts during sessions</p> <p data-start="470" data-end="513">…then you are <strong data-start="489" data-end="513">exactly who we need!</strong></p> <p> </p> <h3><strong>🎁 The Perks</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Great weekly pay and flex schedule</li> <li>Work with fun, curious students</li> <li>Supportive school team and a brigade of a clinical support team</li> <li>Make a real difference (and hear some hilarious kid stories along the way)</li> <li>Build relationships within the school system for future opportunities </li> <li>Oh and the BEST BOSS EVER!</li> </ul> <p> </p> <h3><strong>✨ What Your Days Look Like</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Assist the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist in providing speech, language, and communication services to students with IEPs</li> <li>Conduct speech and language screenings under the direction and supervision of the SLP-teamwork makes the dreamwork</li> <li>Manageable case loads with a ton of support, we let no one drown!</li> <li>Collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff who <em>actually respond to calls and emails</em></li> <li>IEPs and activities that make sense (and don’t steal your soul or make you ugly cry)</li> <li>Making real progress with kids—and celebrating it. </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>✨ </strong><strong>What We Are Looking For:</strong></p> <ul> <li>State Requirements - Education, Licensure, and Certification: One of the following: (a) associate's degree in speech-language pathology assisting from an accredited institution; or (b) bachelor's degree in communication sciences and disorders from an accredited institution, plus required coursework in speech-language pathology assisting</li> <li>NC state SLPA license or authorization </li> <li>Completion of an accredited SLPA certification program</li> <li>Prior pediatric or school experience preferred</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; color: rgb(186, 55, 42);">Apply and<strong> let's connect</strong>!<strong> </strong></span></p> <p> </p>
