Senior Robotics Engineer
We are helping one of our early stage deep tech portfolio companies hire a Senior Robotics Engineer to lead their robotics architecture, building autonomous systems for large-scale outdoor operations.
You will own the robotics stack end-to-end, architecting the control and orchestration layers that enable single and multi-robot fleet operations across dynamic, unstructured environments. You will work closely with the computer vision team - AI Engineers and the founder/CEO.
The role involves in-office collaboration five days a week plus field deployment as part of the work.
Requirements
What we're looking for:
Deep expertise in ROS (Robot Operating System), ideally on aerial or mobile robotics platforms
Strong control engineering background
Degree in robotics, mechatronics, electrical or electronic engineering
Proven track record shipping autonomous systems into production (not just research)
Comfortable owning a complex robotics stack end-to-end with limited supervision
Prior experience deploying robots reliably in unstructured outdoor environments is a real plus
Exposure to drone autonomy, aerial robotics, or adjacent deep tech a bonus
