<p><strong>Mid-Level Backend Developer (AWS/Node), #1075</strong></p> <p><strong>Location: </strong>Washington D.C. Metro Area (Hybrid)</p> <p><strong>Clearance: US citizenship required. </strong>Must have the ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust</p> <p><strong>What You'll Be Doing:</strong></p> <p>As a Mid-Level Application Developer, you will design, develop, test, and maintain modern web and mobile applications using React, React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, AWS services, RESTful APIs, and relational and non-relational databases. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions, troubleshoot and optimize application performance, and contribute to technical design discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement efforts.</p> <p><strong>Required Skills and Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree required.</li> <li>At least 5 years of professional experience in a development environment</li> <li>At least 3 years of experience with JavaScript & React UI </li> <li>At least 3 years of experience developing back-end services with Node.js.</li> <li>At least 2 years of experience working with AWS Cloud Tools</li> <li>At least 1 year of experience in writing SQL and working with relational database structures</li> <li>Ability to understand complex business processes and how they relate to the systems supporting them</li> <li>Ability to research problems, identify a root cause, and recommend and implement a solution</li> <li>Aptitude for picking up technology quickly, along with a desire to learn and progress</li> <li>Good communication skills, both written and verbal</li> <li>Ability to collaborate with team members to ensure client needs and expectations are met or exceeded</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Skills and Experience: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with Agile and DevOps tools, such as Git, Jenkins (preferred)</li> <li>Experience with AWS Lambda or DynamoDB (preferred)</li> <li>Experience with the SPA concept and libraries (preferred)</li> <li>ICE cleared preferred </li> <li>USCIS, CBP, or Top Secret clearance preferred </li> <li>Any other DHS clearance preferred </li> <li>Any other government clearance preferred</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><span class="ui-provider gr b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v w x y z ab ac ae af ag ah ai aj ak">Our estimated salary range for this position is $72,000 - $115,000. This presented salary range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
