MES Project Engineer

Base Location: Antwerp Region, 3 days a week on site, 2 days home office

Travel Requirement: Up to 30%

Reporting To: Product Owner - Manufacturing Team

We are seeking a driven and skilled Roll-out Engineer to lead the deployment of our custom-built Manufacturing Execution System (MES) across global manufacturing sites. This role is pivotal in supporting our digital transformation and operational excellence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage full MES roll-out projects: from site assessment to implementation and hypercare. * Support business stakeholders during roll-out, ensuring smooth adoption and minimal disruption. * Drive change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of the new system. * Train key users and provide hands-on onboarding support. * Coordinate hardware requirements and ensure infrastructure readiness. * Define and optimize a global roll-out strategy for efficient scaling. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, production, and our own development team. * Ensure the quality of each roll-out, including documentation, training, testing and post-implementation support. * Capture key requirements and translate them to our own development team.

Candidate Profile

* The successful candidate has preferably 7+ years of experience in different areas of IT/IS and in a production environment * Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving. * Proven experience in Agile methodologies, and project-based working. * Project management certifications are an asset. * Solid understanding of manufacturing systems such as MES, WMS, APS, PLE is a plus * Familiarity with SQL is a required.

* Experience with SAP is a plus. * Excellent communication skills and fluency in English. * Comfortable with international travel (up to 30%).

Education

You have a degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience in Production IT technology.

Team & Environment

You'll be part of a dedicated product team consisting of:

* A Technical Lead * Functional Analysts & project leaders * A team of Developers

You will report directly to the Product Owner of the Manufacturing team and work closely with stakeholders across the business.
