This is a unique opportunity to oversee clinical excellence at FamilyWell and shape the future of integrated women's mental health care. The medical director will play a pivotal role in developing evidence-based treatment protocols, overseeing clinical quality, and ensuring exceptional patient outcomes across the reproductive mental health spectrum. The Medical Director will initially report directly to the CEO and serve as a key clinical voice in strategic planning, product design, and patient experience. This position is virtual with flexible work hours.</p> <h1><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h1> <h2><strong>Clinical Leadership</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Provide clinical oversight and supervision for provider teams including psychiatric nurse practitioners and therapists.</li> <li>Develop and implement evidence-based treatment protocols evaluating impact on patient outcomes and revenue sustainability</li> <li>Build and oversee quality assurance to ensure adherence to clinical best practices, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.</li> <li>Provide clinical supervision and mentorship for psychiatric nurse practitioners, conducting case reviews and supporting direct patient care.</li> <li>Lead the clinical strategy and vision for women's reproductive mental health services.</li> <li>Partner closely with executive leadership to shape the strategic direction of FamilyWell by providing clinical expertise that drives the development and expansion of innovative service offerings and clinical programs.</li> <li>Analyze data and clinical outcomes to develop insights for clinical practice and presentation of thought leadership both internally and externally. </li> <li>Stay current with emerging research and integrate new findings into clinical practice.</li> <li>Participate in product development and clinical innovation initiatives.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Quality Assurance & Compliance</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Establish and maintain clinical quality metrics and outcome measures.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements, HIPAA, and other regulatory standards.</li> <li>Oversee risk management protocols and patient safety initiatives.</li> <li>Develop and maintain clinical documentation standards.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Team Leadership</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Recruit, hire, and supervise clinical staff including psychiatrists, therapists, and nurse practitioners.</li> <li>Provide ongoing clinical supervision, training, and professional development.</li> <li>Foster a collaborative, supportive virtual work environment.</li> <li>Conduct performance evaluations and support career growth for clinical team members.</li> </ul> <h1><strong>What Success Looks Like</strong></h1> <h2><strong>Clinical Leader</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Provides expert-level guidance and oversight, ensuring high standards of care across the clinical team.</li> <li>Acts as a trusted advisor and thought leader within the organization on complex cases.</li> <li>Builds and operationalizes a quality assurance (QA) program for the clinical team.</li> <li>Serves as a clinical voice in strategic planning, contributing to product, service design, and patient experience improvements.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Mission Driven</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Aligns clinical decisions with organizational mission and growth goals in the women's behavioral health space.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Culture of Clinical Excellence & Continuous Improvement</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Champions evidence-based practices and integrates them into routine workflows.</li> <li>Regularly reviews clinical outcomes and supports data-driven quality improvement efforts.</li> </ul> <h1><strong>Candidate…
