This position is required to teach assigned classes as scheduled or as assigned, and perform administrative functions related to teaching.  </span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Key Duties</strong> </span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Teach classes on a regularly scheduled basis assigned and create a welcoming environment for students that is conducive to learning. </span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Assist Program Coordinator, Campus Director of Education, or Campus Executive Director in developing curriculum, preparing course materials, class scheduling, and maintaining tools and equipment used by students.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Maintain a neat and orderly classroom or lab.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Establish and maintain academic and attendance records for student files. Medical Assistant Instructor</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Submit attendance, grades, student evaluations, and all other reports/documentation to Supervisor or appropriate personnel as required by established procedures.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Notify Supervisor of any current or potential issues which warrant immediate attention.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Utilize proven retention techniques approved by the school to assist students.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Complete performance-based teacher education modules as assigned by Supervisor, based on outcomes of classroom observations, instructor evaluations, and student completed surveys.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Attend and/or conduct in-service training, faculty meetings or other mandatory meetings.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Assist with the department equipment and supplies inventory and submit replenishment requests to Supervisor or appropriate personnel.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Alert Supervisor to student absences, especially on first, third and fifth absence occurrences.  </span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Perform and complete other tasks that may be assigned by the Supervisor. </span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Required Qualifications</strong> </span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty in a satisfactory manner.
