The Mechanical Maintenance Planner is responsible for preparing, planning, and coordinating mechanical maintenance activities while maintaining a strong hands-on presence on the production floor and working closely with technicians. The role requires a very strong mechanical background and previous experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Planner or Work Preparation Engineer, as practical field experience is essential.

Responsibilities of the role:

* Prepare and plan preventive and scheduled mechanical maintenance activities. * Schedule maintenance work safely and efficiently, prepare work permits, and define the correct sequence of tasks. * Ensure the timely availability of materials, spare parts, and contractors in coordination with the purchasing and warehouse departments. * Develop weekly maintenance schedules and shutdown plans together with the Maintenance Manager. * Monitor work orders, provide feedback, register completed activities, and ensure accurate administrative closure. * Manage maintenance administration in SAP PM/MM. * Experience with SAP is an advantage, but experience with other maintenance or ERP systems is also welcomed as SAP can be learned. * Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase maintenance efficiency, equipment reliability, and safety. * Act as backup for the Maintenance Manager when required.
