You will support the full product lifecycle, ensuring high-quality manufacturing processes and products that meet or exceed Axon’s standards and customer expectations.</p> <h3>What You’ll Do </h3> <ul> <li>Participate in the Axon Product Lifecycle (APL) process to ensure compliance with quality deliverables including issue resolution (CAPA), validation plans, CTQ identification, FAIR/PPAP documentation, and quality monitoring implementation.</li> <li>Lead nonconforming material review (NCMR/MRB) and manage material dispositions with cross-functional teams.</li> <li>Drive and manage 8D investigations and root cause analysis (RCA); implement effective corrective and preventive actions.</li> <li>Develop and maintain FAIRs, PPAP documentation, and AQL sampling plans for incoming, in-process, and final inspections.</li> <li>Provide engineering support to Receiving Inspection including Gage R&R studies, MSA, and inspection procedure development.</li> <li>Support new product introduction (NPI) through validation, process control, and risk mitigation strategies (e.g., PFMEA).</li> <li>Perform risk assessment and drive risk mitigation and execution for line stoppages, shipment stoppages, product launch blockers and other highly escalated situations.</li> <li>Implement and monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems to drive continuous improvement.</li> <li>Use DMAIC principles and statistical analysis (e.g., Minitab, JMP) to identify process improvement opportunities.</li> <li>Interface with manufacturing, engineering, and design teams to drive process consistency and yield improvements.</li> <li>Participate in internal and supplier audits; ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., IPC-A-610).</li> <li>Manage quality-related documentation including procedures, inspection plans, and training materials.</li> <li>Partner with supply chain and procurement to ensure supplier quality and performance metrics are met.</li> <li>Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and contribute to Kaizen events and value stream mapping.</li> <li>Communicate effectively across departments to ensure quality alignment and customer satisfaction.</li> <li>Demonstrate strong ownership and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.</li> </ul> <h3>What You Bring</h3> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 14px;">Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Quality Engineering, or related discipline.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 14px;">3+ years of experience in a production/manufacturing quality engineering role.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 14px;">Experience with CAPA, RCA/8D, PPAP, FAIR, PFMEA, and validation activities.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 14px;">Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt (CSSGB/CSSBB) or equivalent experience in process improvement.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 14px;">Strong knowledge of IPC-A-610 and relevant industry standards.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 14px;">Proficiency in MS Office tools and statistical analysis software such as Minitab, JMP, or similar.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 14px;">Strong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, GD&T, and inspection techniques.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 14px;">Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS), ISO 9001 or AS9100 is a plus.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 14px;">Excellent communication, problem-solving, and technical report writing skills.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 14px;">Strong time management, multitasking, and organizational skills.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 14px;">Proactive, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 14px;">Internal or external audit experience preferred.</span></li> </ul> <h3><span style="font-size: 14px;">Benefits that Benefit You</span></h3> <ul> <li class="css-v55p23"> <p>Competitive salary and 401(k) with employer match</p> </li> <li class="css-v55p23"> <p>Discretionary paid time off</p> </li> <li class="css-v55p23"> <p>Paid parental leave for all</p> </li> <li class="css-v55p23"> <p>Medical, Dental, Vision insurance</p> </li> <li class="css-v55p23"> <p>Fitness…
