Duties will also include R&amp;D builds, tooling support and repair, and to support production while building technical expertise in composites manufacturing.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h3><strong>How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:&nbsp;</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Provide manufacturing floor support to: triage equipment issues, cycle count materials, &amp; troubleshoot manufacturing data discrepancies</li> <li>Test manufacturing data packages (lasers, DXFs, etc)</li> <li>Generating rework/repair instructions and complete complex repairs</li> <li>Support R&amp;D or prototype builds when required</li> <li>Collecting and analyze production data such as cycle times or equipment capability measurements</li> <li>Assist engineering with tool assembly and maintenance: assemble tools and apply or update labels, create quality packages for tools, manage tool hardware inventory, &amp; tool repairs</li> <li>Identify improvement opportunities and submit issues against projects in Gitlab</li> <li>Write problems/NCRs for defective material using Problem Solver</li> <li>Maintain manufacturing and engineering documentation in Composite Docs and Confluence</li> <li>Update bills of materials to ensure accurate inventory and accounting in PLEX or Plan Maker</li> <li>Design simple fixtures, racks, etc. for process improvement</li> <li>May occasionally produce production parts in conforming environment</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Minimum Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Two-year degree or certificate from an accredited two (2) year college, university, or technical school or equivalent experience</li> <li>Ability to Interpret drawings, specifications, and schematics of mechanical and electrical components Ability to operate hand and power tools</li> <li>Strong critical thinking skills.</li> <li>Ability to pivot and rapidly develop solutions to changing goals</li> <li>Experience using hand tools</li> <li>Ability to convey ideas verbally and in writing</li> <li>Comfortable using a computer and typical software</li> <li>Experience working in a collaborative team environment</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Above and Beyond Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Previous hands-on experience with composites fabrication</li> <li>Familiarity with measurement tools and gages</li> <li>Experience operating manufacturing equipment and machines</li> <li>Previous Computer-Aided Design (CAD) experience – Specifically 3DX/Catia</li> <li>Comfort with coding, AI assistance, and GIT</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Physical Demands and Work Environment:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.</li> <li>Reasonable accommodation may be provided for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.</li> <li>The work environment may require a combination of indoor and outdoor activities (hot, cold, wet, humid conditions) with a varied amount of walking, standing, sitting, climbing (i.e. ladders, stairs), balance (maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slippery surfaces), bending, reaching, handling (seizing, holding, grasping, turning, picking, punching), stooping, kneeling, crouching and ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds.</li> <li>Work may require the ability to operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.) in a safe manner.</li> <li>While performing the duties of this job, employees may work around variable noise levels or with fume or airborne particles, hazardous chemicals, etc. requiring the use of personal protective equipment such as face protection (safety glasses, goggles, face shield), gloves, and hearing protection.</li> <li>Work duties may also be required to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer and/or the ability to travel by air or automobile.</li> <li>This position may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure the successful operation of activities in the organization. Some positions entail working with small parts/components.</li> <li>Employees must have excellent hand-eye coordination and good manual dexterity in both hands.
