The working shifts days consisting of 6am to 6pm and nights consisting of 6pm-6am.</p> <p><strong>📣  A bit about the role:</strong></p> <p>You might know this role as a <strong data-path-to-node="2,0" data-index-in-node="63">Facilities Engineer</strong>, <strong data-path-to-node="2,0" data-index-in-node="84">Maintenance Engineer</strong>, or <strong data-path-to-node="2,0" data-index-in-node="109">Manufacturing Engineer</strong>, but here at Butternut Box, we call it a <strong data-path-to-node="2,0" data-index-in-node="173">Multi-Skilled Engineer</strong>. As a Multi Skilled Engineer for a dual site operation, Rudie’s Kitchen, our Manufacturing Site and Ace’s Pantry, our UK Warehouse & Fulfilment Centre, you will have full accountability for the Efficient up-keep of all production, fulfilment and site services equipment.</p> <p>The Engineer needs to be able to fault-find and problem-solve on a broad range of equipment and situations, which is key to resolving technical/engineering issues in a high-volume production environment where keeping the plant running safely and efficiently is the prime objective.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>In this role, you can expect to…</strong></p> <ul> <li>Partner with our production and fulfilment teams to ensure the full availability of people, knowledge, skills and equipment to keep us cooking (and to be able to cook more as we scale).</li> <li>Be an expert, guide and coach demonstrating shift leadership during the day-to-day running of the Kitchen, advising and sharing a view of how we can operate during proactive and reactive requirements with the shift leadership team.</li> <li>Be readily available and the first point of contact to diagnose and fix plant issues, including site services. </li> <li>Own and drive the reliability of our machinery and react promptly and proactively to breakdown issues escalated across the entire Kitchen whilst on duty.</li> <li>To provide the final port of call for our teams in diagnosing reasons for the plant not running to Standard Operating Conditions and being the highest technical skill within the factory's day-to-day operation.</li> <li>Carrying out Root Cause Analysis of efficiency losses & significant breakdowns. </li> <li>To drive the CI plan for your area of ownership, working alongside the days-based Engineering Team</li> <li>Being a key part of the operations team through short interval control meetings, collaborating cross functionally and supporting Op’s with coaching, SOP writing and Technical Training.</li> <li>Ensure a robust and informative handover to the oncoming shift to ensure activity continues cohesively, equally ensuring handover to the other side so we can always be moving things forward.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong><em>Rudies & Aces systems:</em></strong></p> <p>Provide site Services (Cooling systems, steam, air, water, gas and electricity) and full site asset install base (Mixing, Filling, Cooking, Freezing & Fulfilment).<br><br></p> <p><strong>👋  A bit about you</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong multi-skilled engineering background including completion of a recognised apprenticeship.</li> <li>Multi Skilled Engineer with electrical bias, ideally with strong experience in Electrical diagnostics.</li> <li>Qualified to HNC level in an Engineering discipline.</li> <li>Hungry for a challenge and keen to grow something to our next phase of growth</li> <li>Excellent Communication skills, able to engage with shift operations teams</li> <li>P.C literate in: Cloud based system, ideally Google Suite, etc.</li> <li>Minimum of 3 years experience in an Engineering or Senior Technician Role</li> <li>Supervisory experience with broad working knowledge of relevant safety legislation.</li> <li>Well practised planning, organisation and scheduling skills.</li> <li>Ability to coach and train, leading others by example.</li> <li>Easily approachable with good interpersonal skills, with creative thinking and analytical skills</li> <li>Loves dogs (naturally)</li> </ul> <p><strong>🥳What's In It For You?🥳</strong></p> <ul> <li>Enjoy 257.5 hours of holiday per year (equivalent to 33 days holiday)*</li> <li>Plus an extra day for each year of service (up to 5 days).*</li> <li>39 hours of pre-booked paws days to support good wellbeing and self care.* (equivalent to 5…
