As a comprehensive solution for all digital asset strategies from start to scale, FalconX operates as the connective tissue empowering clients with seamless navigation through the ever- evolving cryptocurrency landscape.</p></div><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Manager, Procurement &amp; TPRM</strong></span></p> <p><strong>Location</strong>: New York</p> <p><strong>Team:</strong> Finance, FP&amp;A</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>We are looking for a results-driven, high-performing <strong>Manager</strong> to establish a new <strong>Procurement and Third Party Risk Management function. </strong>You’ll take the lead in sourcing events, negotiating contracts, assisting with RFP’s for vendor selection and optimizing vendor spend across the organization.&nbsp; In addition, you will spearhead the design and implementation of a third party risk management framework to protect the firm, reduce risks and meet regulatory requirements typical in a highly regulated financial services industry.&nbsp;</p> <p>This role is perfect for a self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment, able to work independently, proactively and most importantly, is comfortable being the first to establish and implement new processes. You’ll need to work with a wide range of stakeholders to support all departments in managing third party risk, and you’ll excel in building trusted relationships to deliver on these goals.</p> <p>To be successful in this role, you’ll need to bring deep industry experience in strategic sourcing and risk management, with a strong grasp on best practice methodologies to support our objectives. Experience implementing ZIP and operationalizing a risk management framework will be advantageous. You’ll report directly to the Director of FP&amp;A and be responsible for working closely with our various Finance functions as well as other cross-functional leaders to build out a sustainable and effective sourcing strategy. This role has a broad scope and offers excellent opportunities to grow at FalconX and become a trusted business partner to the organization.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Procurement Strategy</strong>; drive cost savings across the Company through negotiating contracts, consolidation of vendors and process improvements to drive efficiency savings.&nbsp;</li> <li><strong>Streamline Vendor Management</strong>; review and approve all new vendor requests and manage the full end to end onboarding process, ensuring an efficient and timely process for our stakeholders</li> <li><strong>Negotiation of New Contracts</strong>; confidently manage relationship with new vendors and negotiate confidently to deliver the best possible terms for the Company</li> <li><strong>Monitoring of Third Parties</strong>; tracking of all renewals, including negotiating new rates and when necessary, managing all offboarding procedures to protect the firm from any potential risks in business continuity</li> <li><strong>Analysis and Reporting</strong>; design and implement a range of reporting to track all third party vendors, monitor cost savings, manage risks and ensure all vendor records remain up to date and accurate</li> <li><strong>Process Enhancements</strong>; participate in new Procure-to-Pay system implementation including opining on best practice workflows and optimization to reduce time to onboard and manage vendors</li> <li><strong>Support All Stakeholders</strong>; provide hands-on assistance such as running the end to end&nbsp; RFP processes, train all process and system users, and ensure cross-functional management of vendor risk.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum 6 years experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, contract negotiations and third party risk management with demonstrable results to support experience</li> <li>Confident negotiation skills with track record of delivering savings and the best possible contract terms for a wide variety of vendors</li> <li>Excellent organizational skills, able to run with multiple contracts, negotiations and vendor conversations concurrently</li> <li>Experience creating policies and procedures end to end, including the implementation and roll out of new frameworks cross an entire organization</li> <li>Comfortable working in a small team and collaborating across Finance, Risk, Legal, Compliance and Security as needed to deliver on company objectives</li> <li>Enthusiastic self-starter that can demonstrate a proactive approach to problem solving and independently managing their own workstreams</li> </ul> <p><strong>The base pay for this role is expected to be between $157,000 - $199,000 USD for a Manager level in the New York City Area. </strong>This expected base pay range is based on information at the time this post was…
