In this fast-growing, high-energy environment, you'll drive innovation while maintaining a strong focus on quality and efficiency.
About the Role
The Manager, Network Strategy & Operations will support the design and execution of DashLink’s network strategy. You’ll be responsible for building analytical frameworks, executing coverage strategies, and driving operational improvements that improve service quality and cost efficiency. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Strategy & Operations, this role is analytical, cross-functional, and central to how we grow our logistics network.
This role can be based near a major logistics hub and requires 15–20% travel.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…
• Support network expansion – Execute coverage strategies that support DoorDash’s growth. Contribute to market entry analysis, regional prioritization, and site selection inputs for external partners.
• Optimize first-mile and middle-mile – Analyze and refine induction and routing strategies that align with merchant expectations, improve reliability, and reduce transportation costs.
• Benchmark against industry leaders – Research and synthesize competitive service standards to inform recommendations that improve speed and consistency for customers and merchants.
• Contribute to long-term architecture – Identify and model opportunities for regional nodes, hub-to-hub transfers, and consolidation strategies, with recommendations that support cost-efficient scaling.
• Drive analytical rigor – Build and own models that project coverage, cost per unit, and service levels, ensuring strategy is grounded in data.
• Partner cross-functionally – Collaborate with Transportation, LiveOps, Product, and Finance to execute launches, measure success, and ensure the network design scales with business growth.
• Drive execution – Translate strategy into actionable workplans, track progress against milestones, and surface issues proactively to senior stakeholders.
We’re excited about you because…
• You’re structured and analytical – You can synthesize complex data into clear recommendations, and you understand how network design decisions affect cost, coverage, and service outcomes.
• You’re highly analytical – You are fluent in data and modeling (Excel, SQL, Python, or network modeling tools) and use it to ground your decisions.
• You thrive in scaling environments – You’re comfortable operating with ambiguity and building solutions in uncharted territory.
• You’re cross-functional – You’ve partnered with operations, product, and finance teams to move work forward and drive shared outcomes.
• You have relevant logistics experience – 4–6 years in transportation, supply chain, consulting, or operations roles, with exposure to carrier management, SLA frameworks, or network analysis.
• You deliver results – You have a track record of moving projects to completion, with measurable improvements in cost, service, or operational efficiency.
