Job Overview: Assurasource is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) to provide high-quality counseling services and clinical supervision to licensed and associate counselors. The ideal candidate will deliver therapeutic care to clients and support the professional growth of supervisees in a collaborative, remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual, couples, and family counseling to clients with diverse mental health needs.
Offer clinical supervision and mentorship to LPC-Associate and LPC candidates pursuing licensure.
Assess client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation according to ethical and regulatory standards.
Use evidence-based therapeutic approaches and crisis intervention techniques.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality policies.
Promote a safe, supportive, and professional therapeutic environment.
Engage in ongoing professional development and stay abreast of best practices in counseling and supervision.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Valid, active LPC-S license in the state of Texas.
Experience providing clinical supervision to LPC-Associate or LPC candidates.
Strong clinical counseling skills and ability to work with diverse populations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and clinical documentation standards.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
Commitment to professional development and ethical practice.
Preferred Qualifications:
Specialized training or certification in specific therapeutic modalities (e.g., EMDR, trauma-informed care).
Experience with telehealth service delivery.
Bilingual abilities (Spanish-English) are a plus.
