Overview
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join their growing team based in Southern Paarl. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the logistics function through accurate administration, coordination, and documentation within a fast-paced fruit export environment.
This position requires strong organisational skills, the ability to multitask under pressure, and a high level of accuracy. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a high-pressure operational setting and will be able to communicate effectively in both Afrikaans and English.
Key Responsibilities
Manage export documentation and ensure all paperwork is accurate and submitted timeously
Assist with logistics planning, scheduling, instructions, and operational coordination
Handle stock control processes for both export and local inventory
Perform administration on the OX/Prophet system
Compile and submit reports on all relevant logistics and operational data
Support the logistics manager with day-to-day operational tasks
Ensure all logistics-related documentation is maintained accurately and efficiently
Assist with any additional duties related to logistics and supply chain coordination
Requirements
Requirements
Matric (a relevant tertiary qualification or diploma will be advantageous)
2–3 years’ experience in a similar logistics role, ideally within the fruit export industry
Working knowledge and experience with the OX/Prophet system
Strong computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel
Excellent organisational and planning abilities
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to work after hours during peak seasons when required
Reliable transport to and from work
