We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with strong Texas law expertise to join our on-site team. This is a senior-level role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced litigation setting and enjoys working closely with attorneys and team members in-office.
Requirements
What You’ll Do
🔹 Lead & Support the Team
Supervise, train, and mentor junior paralegals
Ensure high-quality, consistent work across the team
🔹 Discovery & Case Strategy
Draft and respond to discovery requests from scratch
Develop case-specific legal strategies based on facts and law
🔹 Legal Drafting
Prepare petitions, pleadings, and complaints for state and federal courts
Draft motions, including motions to compel
🔹 Jury Charge Development
Create precise jury charges to guide case strategy
Align discovery and pleadings with key legal elements
🔹 Evidence & Case Management
Review and analyze discovery, medical records, and case evidence
Ensure all documentation is accurate, thorough, and strategically aligned
🔹 Trial Preparation
Prepare detailed trial binders and support attorneys during trial
Coordinate and organize all necessary trial materials
🔹 Deadline Management
Track court deadlines and ensure timely filings
What We’re Looking For
Experience:
5+ years as a Litigation Paralegal
Strong background in Texas Plaintiff Personal Injury law
Expertise:
Proven ability to independently handle discovery and legal drafting
Experience developing case strategies from the ground up
Skills:
Exceptional drafting, analytical, and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases
Leadership:
Ability to train, guide, and support junior team members
On-Site Commitment:
Comfortable working in an in-office, team-oriented environment
