Los Angeles Clinicians Welcome

Daybreak Health | Telehealth | 1099 Independent Contractor

About the role

Daybreak Health is a telehealth company that makes mental healthcare easier to reach, including for adults through our partnership with Kaiser Permanente. As a therapist with us, you’ll provide individual teletherapy to adults ages 18-60 with mild-to-moderate mental health needs. You set your schedule and we handle the logistics around it, so your time goes to your clients.

What the work looks like

• Provide evidence-based individual therapy by video to adults ages 18-60

• Build steady, trusting relationships with clients

• Work fully remote from anywhere in the U.S., as long as you’re licensed to practice in California

• Set your own hours, Monday-Sunday, 8am-8pm PT (weekends optional)

• See a minimum of 5 sessions per week, with no cap

• Our team matches clients to your availability and books their initial sessions, so you spend less time chasing referrals

• Our clinicians average a 96% caseload fill rate

Compensation and support

• $75-$95 per session

• Guaranteed pay for no-shows and late cancellations

• Onboarding stipend

• Paid clinical consultation

• Malpractice insurance provided

• Free CE credits year-round

• 1099 contractor flexibility: no commute and no minimum office hours

What you bring

• An active California license as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP

• Experience providing individual therapy to adults

• Comfort with telehealth, and experience delivering it

• A commitment to culturally responsive, equitable care

Associate and provisionally licensed clinicians aren’t eligible for this role.
