LPN or RN Needed for Hospice Visits

BAYADA Hospice is looking for compassionate and dedicated LPN or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the North Jersey Hospice office, located in North Bergen, NJ. This office services hospice clients on a per visit basis in all of North Jersey. (Including Essex, Union, Hudson, Bergen, Passaic, Morris, Middlesex and Somerset counties.

• 2 weekends a month required

• Minimum of 2 weekdays availability required

• 1-2 holidays per year mandatory

• No on call required

• Must be willing to cover any county-assignments will vary

• RN's must be comfortable with hospice admissions

• Weekly pay


Base Pay, depending upon qualifications and subject to negotiation:

RN $50-$52 per hour, LPN $38-$41 per hour

• This is visiting position-reliable transportation needed

• Bilingual Spanish a plus

Prior home care and/or hospice experience strongly preferred, but not required. As a hospice nurse (RN), you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides palliative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.

Responsibilities for a Hospice RN / LPN - Registered Nurse include:


Making home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.

• Performing assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures and comfort care.

• Monitoring clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager.

• Following up with, executing, and properly documenting doctors' orders.

• Performing client assessments as necessary.

• Occasional on call after hours and/or weekends
