The Belgian organization employs approximately 2,000 people across different sites and operates within a highly decentralized structure, allowing local entities to maintain significant autonomy while benefiting from the support of a large international group.

Jobomschrijving

As a Legal Counsel your responsibilities are:

* Provide pragmatic and business-oriented legal advice to senior management and operational teams.
* Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a variety of commercial contracts.
* Advise on agency, distribution, procurement, and service agreements.
* Support construction and real estate projects, including related contractual negotiations.
* Monitor and advise on consumer law matters impacting the Belgian business.
* Contribute to ESG-related projects and provide legal support regarding evolving sustainability regulations.
* Identify legal risks and develop practical mitigation strategies.
* Strengthen compliance frameworks and internal governance procedures.
* Collaborate closely with departments such as Procurement, Marketing, Communications, and Operations.
* Translate complex legal concepts into pragmatic solutions that facilitate business growth.
