LEAD CONTRACT SPECIALIST

About this role

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Reviewing procurement requests to assure clarity, adequacy, and completeness; 2) Providing advice, training, guidance, and interpretation on procurement regulations, policies, and procedures; 3) Executing pre award contract actions (such as for construction, A/E, environmental or facilitates service contracts) in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, policies, standards, and/or procedures; 4) Executing post award contract actions, including modifications, processing payments, final invoicing, final performance evaluation, and/or closeout; and 5) Evaluating proposals, establishing pre-negotiation objectives, negotiating, and documenting post negotiation accomplishments including fair and reasonable price determinations.
