Junior System Administrator (Windows)

We are looking for a Junior System Administrator to join a leading company in the banking sector. Responsibilities:

- Support the administration and maintenance of Windows Server environments. - Assist in the management of Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, Exchange, and Microsoft 365. - Create and manage user accounts, groups, and permissions in Active Directory and Exchange. - Monitor and support backup operations using Veeam. - Assist in the administration of endpoint protection solutions, including Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP). - Troubleshoot Windows systems, Microsoft services, and basic network connectivity issues. - Provide first-level support for Cisco wireless infrastructure. - Assist in the configuration and maintenance of FortiGate firewall rules and policies. - Monitor system performance and help ensure the availability and security of the IT infrastructure. - Collaborate with senior system administrators and other IT teams to resolve incidents and implement infrastructure improvements. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (mandatory). 1–2 years of experience in Windows Systems Administration. Basic knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, Exchange, and Microsoft 365. Experience managing users and permissions in Active Directory. Familiarity with backup solutions such as Veeam. Basic knowledge of endpoint protection solutions (e.g., Symantec Endpoint Protection or similar). Basic understanding of Windows Server administration. Familiarity with Cisco wireless environments and FortiGate firewalls is a plus. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Eagerness to learn new technologies and grow within a systems administration role. Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
