Job Title: Junior Accountant.
Location: Stellenbosch.
Type: Permanent, office based, full time.
Salary offered: Between R20 000-R25 000 per month.

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join their finance team. The successful candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial record-keeping, and assist in the preparation of financial reports. This role is well-suited to an individual looking to develop their career in accounting within a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries
Record daily financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and receipts
Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts on a regular basis
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and schedules
Maintain proper documentation and well-organized financial records
Provide administrative and operational support to the Financial Manager
Requirements
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous internship or entry-level experience in an accounting role
Exposure to financial reporting processes
