If you thrive in a dynamic environment and want to use your skills to support the national security mission, we want to hear from you!</p> <p>As a Software Engineer at AFS, you will be a key part of a collaborative team dedicated to building and improving cutting-edge software solutions. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of meaningful projects in a fast-paced and supportive environment. </p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do: </strong> </p> <ul> <li>Design, build, and maintain a variety of software systems, from large-scale data platforms to real-time analytics</li> <li>Collaborate with stakeholders to transform ideas into new features and user-friendly designs</li> <li>Write, test, and debug clean, efficient code to ensure our systems are reliable and performant</li> <li>Solve interesting problems by developing and implementing robust algorithms</li> <li>Work with a team to test software, create documentation, and ensure everything we build meets the highest standards</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you’ll need: </strong></p> <ul> <li>0-2 years of experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++, JavaScript).</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field</li> <ul> <li>Four (4) years of relevant experience can substitute for a degree. </li> </ul> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus Points if you have: </strong></p> <p>The below desired qualifications are nice to have and apply to a wide range of our openings: </p> <ul> <li>Experience with language specific frameworks: <ul> <li>Java frameworks: Spring, Hibernate, etc.</li> <li>JavaScript frameworks: React, Angular, Vue.js, etc. </li> <li>Python frameworks: Django, Flask, etc.</li> <li>C++ frameworks: STL, Qt, Boost, etc. </li> </ul> </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)</li> <li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, etc.</li> <li>Knowledge of SQL databases, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle</li> <li>Experience with NoSQL databases such as ElasticSearch or MongoDB</li> <li>Experience with AWS services and cloud-based application development</li> <li>Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes</li> <li>Experience with cloud development technologies </li> </ul> <p><strong>Clearance</strong>:</p> <p>Must have a TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p> </p> <p><span class="TextRun SCXW225111203 BCX8" lang="EN-US" data-contrast="auto"><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW225111203 BCX8">As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of <strong>California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland</strong></span></span><span class="TextRun SCXW225111203 BCX8" lang="EN-US" data-contrast="auto"><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW225111203 BCX8">. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
