About this job:
We are looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst with a strong data background to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating business needs into technical requirements and ensuring seamless communication between both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The position requires proficiency in data analysis and SQL, as well as experience with Power BI. Experience in the CPG sector is desirable.
Location: 100% remote - Ukraine, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Romania, Slovenia, Czechia, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia
How you'll make an impact:

• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications;

• Maintain documentation such as transformation rules, data dictionaries, and metric definitions;

• Design and implement mappings between multiple data sources;

• Analyze and interpret data to support business decision-making;

• Collaborate with both technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of project objectives;

• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI;

• Provide support in data extraction, transformation, and analysis using SQL;

• Conduct stakeholder surveys, workshops, and meetings to collect and clarify requirements, rules, and other relevant information.

What makes you a great fit:

• At least 4 years of experience in a similar role;

• Experience in conducting workshops;

• Ability to lead meetings and brainstorming meetings;

•
Experience documenting data projects;

• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;

• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken);

• Strong experience in writing advanced SQL queries for data extraction and analysis;

• Understanding of data warehouse, data lake, lakehouse, and ETL concepts;

• Experience with data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise big data platforms;

• Experience in data visualization with Power BI or any other BI tool;

• Experience delivering finance reporting and BI solutions for finance stakeholders.

Desirable skills:

• Background in CPG industry-related projects;

• Experience with Databricks and Azure data stack.
