AbilityPath is committed to recruiting and retaining diverse diversity among our staff teams. </p> <p><strong><u>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction to participants to help them achieve their goals; instruction may be community based, on-site or provided virtually.</li> <li>Utilize appropriate modification techniques to respond to challenging behaviors and support behavioral plans to increase engagement</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Oversee case management and all related documentation and reports</li> <li>Supervise and assist participants during volunteer activities, paid work, classes, and other community activities</li> <li>Participate in agency functions and attend case management meetings</li> <li>Maintain professional relationships and provide excellent customer service with external parties, families, care givers, and participants</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to provide engaging instruction to participants with various developmental levels, skill sets, and behaviors</li> <li>Ability to respond to challenging behaviors and support behavioral plans to increase engagement</li> <li>Ability to work effectively on teams, including cross-departmental teams</li> <li>Knowledge of standard computer systems including Outlook and Word</li> <li>Ability to work with detailed and confidential information</li> <li>Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with parents, caregivers, team, and external partners</li> <li>Demonstrate a positive outlook and ability to adapt to change</li> <li>Passion for the mission, by believing in the abilities of people with disabilities</li> <li>Awareness of, sensitivity to, and competence in supporting people with developmental disabilities</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>education and work experience:</u></strong></p> <p>Any combination of education or work experience that meets job expectations; including but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Education Degree in applicable field</li> <li>Specialized certificate</li> <li>Applicable work or volunteer experience</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>HIRING REQUIREMENTS</u></strong><strong>:</strong></p> <ul> <li>3 years of a Valid California Driver’s License/ID </li> <li>3 years of a Clean Driving Record (if…
