Connected's mission has always been to breed, grow, and sell the best cannabis in the world, setting high standards for its products, people, and partners wherever we go.</p> <p> </p> <h3><strong>About the Job</strong></h3> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Part-Time Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for the store’s day to day inventory tasks, which includes inventory counts, quality checks of incoming products, labeling and organization of inventory.  They will also assist the Inventory Lead and Manager in verification of product counts and regulatory compliance standards upon deliveries.  Ensure products are received within California Track and Trace system (METRC) and ERP system and have appropriate labels before making goods available for sale.</span></p> <p> </p> <h3><strong>What You Will Do</strong></h3> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Responsible for the labeling and tagging, organizing, counting and quality checks for all new FGI received.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Conduct weekly cycle counts and assist in investigating any discrepancies.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ensure all products entering inventory have gone through standard quality checks, for quantity verification, label verification and COA verification.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Count, reconcile, and complete monthly inventory audits every month.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Escalate any inventory and UID discrepancies to the Inventory Control Lead or Manager for quick resolution.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Research inventory variances and adjustments as directed.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Work with Inventory Manager/Lead to maintain an accurate log of inventory for disposal.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Maintain a list of all quality hold/quarantined product.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Other duties as assigned.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <h3><strong>What We Are Looking For</strong></h3> <ul> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Inventory experience in a retail or warehouse environment is a plus</span></li> <li>Strong math skills</li> <li>Proficiency using Microsoft Excel and Word</li> <li>METRC or similar cannabis seed-to-sale tracking software experience (preferred)</li> <li>Valid California Driver’s License</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Compensation</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Competitive pay starting at <strong>$20.00</strong> per hour.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Physical Requirements/Work Environment</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Must be able to lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs. occasionally without assistance or 100 lbs. with assistance. </span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Regularly required to perform carrying, grasping, lifting, walking, standing, some bending/crouching, stooping, stretching, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions. </span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Must be able to stand for extended periods of time while maintaining focus. </span></li> </ul> <p><strong><em><span style="font-weight: 400;">The physical requirements described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
