Cornerstone Academy is part of ACCEL Schools, an established network of public charter schools serving K-12 students throughout the United States since 2014.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>About the Opportunity:</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">The Intervention Specialist supports the educational and behavioral goals of all students with a focus on students with an Individualized Education Program.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Responsibilities of the Intervention Specialist include to-</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Work cooperatively with classroom teachers, interpreting the abilities and disabilities of these students, assisting in classroom intervention strategies, modifying general education curricular as necessary, and assisting the student with regular class assignments.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Conduct diagnostic assessments for instruction</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Conduct functional behavior assessments</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Write and implement behavior improvement plans</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Facilitate IEP Meetings and write IEP goals and objectives</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Relentlessly work to meet all goals related to student achievement and culture as well as state specific achievement goals.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Utilize research-based best practices in daily planning and instruction.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Integrate culturally responsive teaching practices into daily lessons and interactions with students, parents, and colleagues.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Serve as advisor for a designated set of students</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Communicate regularly with families regarding the academic and social-emotional growth of their child.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Participate in the planning and implementation of non-instructional activities such as social events and field trips</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Perform other duties as assigned</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>About You:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Current state license</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size:…
