For our client in Ypres, a metal foundry, we are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to work in a two-shift system.

What will you do?

* You will be responsible for the electrical and electronic maintenance of the foundry’s installations, both corrective and preventive.
* This includes independently diagnosing faults, malfunctions, and defects, as well as replacing and repairing defective components.
* You will carry out various inspections and checks as part of the preventive maintenance program.
* Together with the foreman, you will analyze the root causes of defects and formulate improvement proposals to support continuous improvement.
* You will perform your tasks with a strong focus on keeping both the installations and the surrounding work environment clean and orderly.
* Acquiring and sharing knowledge with colleagues is an essential part of the role.
* A comprehensive training program is provided as part of the onboarding and development process.
