Position: Cybersecurity Practitioner: Paid Expert Interviews (SOC, Incident Response, Detection, AppSec)
Type:Contract
Compensation:$125–$175/hour
Location:Remote
Role Responsibilities

• Participate in two to three one-hour video conversations with the Mercor team over four weeks.

• Discuss the tools and processes used in enterprise cyber defense work.

• Evaluate how AI assistance currently impacts your work and suggest improvements for AI benchmarks.

• Review and provide feedback on our draft task taxonomy for accuracy and relevance.

• Share insights on measuring the effectiveness of triage, investigation, and other security tasks.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Current or recent experience in enterprise security roles such as SOC analysts, incident responders, or security engineers.

• Experience with EDR and SIEM stacks like CrowdStrike Falcon, Microsoft Defender, Splunk, or similar.

Preferred

• Security leaders with hands-on experience in cyber defense work.
