**What does this job entail?**

As Head of Operations, you take full ownership of our operational departments and sites (laboratories and in vivo research facilities), working closely with highly skilled technical experts.

Your responsibilities:

* You ensure strong alignment between departments and sites, so that processes, priorities and ways of working remain coordinated.
* You translate the organisation’s strategic objectives into clear operational priorities.
* You support, coach and challenge department heads in achieving their objectives and strengthening team performance.
* You foster collaboration and knowledge sharing between teams and disciplines across the organisation.
* You ensure the efficient use of resources, processes and budgets.
* You drive operational excellence, with a strong focus on digitalisation and continuous improvement.
* You ensure quality, compliance and accreditations within operational activities.
* You monitor operational and financial performance and report on this to management.
* You identify risks and opportunities across teams and sites.

You lead multiple teams and sites, taking on a broad leadership role with impact at both operational and strategic levels.
