Hardware Tester

About this role

Job Summary:

Process testing for computer hardware and computer-related equipment. Creates test plans and equipment, implements and monitors test processes, and completes hardware product validations. Prepare test reports for CM and the customer if necessary.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

• Conduct a test to verify all parts are defect-free, ensuring quality control.

• Maintaining the testing platform.

• Update testing apps to ensure they support the new product.

• Works closely with CM and Salesman to provide related testing reports.

• Create testing reports of the defective product for CM and the buyer to follow up with the vendor.

• Assists in preparing training material for team members to enhance testing abilities.

• Ensures defects are properly tracked.

• Comply with safety requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience troubleshooting hardware and/or software issues.

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team player.

• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).

• Written and verbal communication skills

• Min.Edu Level Req: F.5 / HKCEE / DSE

• Working experience preferred but not essential.
