In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing our server infrastructure at scale.<strong> </strong>You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and key stakeholders to deliver highly performant, reliable, and scalable hardware solutions that power CoreWeave’s rapidly growing infrastructure.</p> <h3 class="_9k2iva0 p8i6j0c _1ibi0s314 heading3 _9k2iva1">What You’ll Do</h3> <ul class="p8i6j07 p8i6j02"> <li>Serve as the senior point of contact for hardware escalations and troubleshooting, driving root-cause analysis and long-term fixes.</li> <li>Operate, maintain, and optimize server hardware infrastructure, including deep troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of failures across both hardware and firmware.</li> <li>Develop and maintain hardware/firmware management services that ensure reliability at scale.</li> <li>Automate all aspects of the server hardware lifecycle, from provisioning and configuration to monitoring and decommissioning.</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define hardware requirements, specifications, and system architecture.</li> <li>Create and maintain accurate documentation of hardware designs, specifications, test procedures, and results.</li> <li>Analyze and optimize hardware system performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and resilience.</li> <li>Establish and continuously refine processes for internal hardware testing, deployment, and performance optimization.</li> </ul> <h3 class="_9k2iva0 p8i6j0c _1ibi0s314 heading3 _9k2iva1">Who You Are</h3> <ul class="p8i6j07 p8i6j02"> <li class="p8i6j0a">Proficient in Ansible and Python, with experience programmatically interacting with server BMCs using IPMI or Redfish.</li> <li class="p8i6j0a">Deep understanding of server hardware, components, and management technologies.</li> <li class="p8i6j0a">Proven ability to stay current with industry technologies and trends in server and data center hardware.</li> <li class="p8i6j0a">Previous experience collaborating with hardware vendors to evaluate, qualify, and deploy solutions.</li> <li class="p8i6j0a">Strong passion for automation, with a commitment to automating processes comprehensively and reliably.</li> <li class="p8i6j0a">Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.</li> <li class="p8i6j0a">Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a bias toward systematic, data-driven decisions.</li> </ul> <h3 class="_9k2iva0 p8i6j0c _1ibi0s314 heading3 _9k2iva1">Wondering if you’re a good fit?</h3> <p class="p8i6j01 paragraph">We believe in investing in our people, and value candidates who can bring their own diversified experiences to our teams – even if you aren't a 100% skill or experience match.
