ABOUT VASCO
Vasco is the revenue context layer for AI agents. We structure your CRM, billing, calls, and support data into a semantic layer where every metric is sourced, every definition is locked, and every answer is deterministic, then build agents that take the manual busywork off people's plates.
Our cofounders Guillaume and Seb already built and sold one startup together. This time, they're building the thing that lets a company make good decisions off data it can actually trust.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Vasco's first GTM Engineer, you'll bring a new lever to how we and our clients grow: AI-powered workflow automation that replaces the manual, repetitive work that slows revenue teams down. Internally, that means building the systems behind how we operate and go to market. For our clients, it means deploying that same capability alongside our product and fractional services, including the automated CRM flows that keep their data trustworthy enough to act on.
You'll sit in our GTM team, reporting to Justin, our Head of Sales and CS, and work closely with the founders and our Customer Success team. Twelve months in, a good chunk of the operational grind that runs on people today runs on systems you built instead.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- GTM data: Map TAM, sharpen ICP definitions, source accounts and contacts, and run waterfall enrichment so every play downstream runs on complete, current data.
- Build signal-based outbound: Turn first, second, and third party buying signals into triggered multichannel plays, and keep sending infrastructure and domain reputation healthy.
- Build inbound activation: Stand up the scoring, routing, and speed-to-lead flows that turn inbound interest into booked meetings.
- Deploy for clients - Fractional Services: Work alongside our RevOps Partners in Customer Success to identify automation opportunities in clients' GTM and revenue operations, then build and hand off systems that cut manual work and keep their data clean enough to make decisions.
- Own the stack and prove the impact: Select and integrate the tools in the GTM stack, report on pipeline influenced and SALs generated, and iterate the plays on what the data says.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Proven builder. You've built automations that survive real use, whatever your background. Software engineering, workflow automation, marketing automation, and technical RevOps all work. What matters is you've shipped systems that held up once people depended on them.
- Revenue system fluency. You understand how an ICP definition, a signal, an enrichment step, and a sequence connect into pipeline, and you can tell which link is broken when the number is off.
- AI-first. Claude is part of how you build daily, and you'll push the Claude suite and Claude Code further than we already do.
- Systems integration. You've automated real work by wiring tools and data together, through automation platforms or your own code. The capability matters more than any specific tool.
- Self-starter who sells the idea. You spot the work no one pointed you to, get buy-in, and execute without hand-holding, and you can explain a system clearly to someone who'll never open it.
WHAT'LL MAKE YOU STAND OUT
- Claude / AI tooling. Strong Claude or AI-coding-assistant experience, especially wiring agents into a data source through MCP or building custom skills on top of one.
- Automation platforms. Hands-on with Clay, Zapier, or n8n (Clay especially), and comfortable dropping into SQL, Python, or an API when no-code hits its ceiling.
- Deliverability depth. You've managed domain reputation, warmup, and inbox placement at volume.
- CRM fluency. HubSpot or Salesforce, with a feel for how data moves through one.
- Client-facing background. Prior client-facing experience.
- Follows where the field is going. You keep up through sources like Cannonball GTM or GTME HQ, and you bring new techniques to the team before we ask.
WHY VASCO
- Small, high-caliber team, with experienced founders still building alongside you.
- Early-stage pace and real ownership: the problems are unsolved, the path isn't fixed, and your judgment and capabilities shape what happens next.
- AI-forward, both in how we work day to day and in what we build for customers.
- Real autonomy, with room to experiment, pick up new skills, and take on projects outside your role: nobody here is boxed in.
- Compensation within the top of the national market, stock options for every team member, uncapped paid time off, generous parental leave, and 100% employer-paid health benefits for you and your dependents.
WHERE YOU'LL WORK
This position is hybrid in Montreal — three days in-person per week (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday) at WeWork Place Ville-Marie in downtown Montreal.

A note on AI: We use AI to help with note-taking during interviews. You can opt out anytime with no impact on your candidacy, and AI plays no part in our hiring decisions. We're an AI company; we know polished AI output when we see it, and what we're really after is how you think and what you can do.

We hire on the strength of what you bring, regardless of who you are. Need an accommodation at any point in the process? Tell us at [email protected] and we'll make it work.
