You are responsible for the general upkeep and appearance of the property’s outdoor and indoor common areas, ensuring that residents, visitors, and team members always experience a well‑maintained, high‑quality setting. Your work directly contributes to the community’s curb appeal, safety, and overall resident satisfaction.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Maintain the property grounds in a clean, orderly, and visually appealing condition at all times.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Perform daily cleaning of interior and exterior common areas, including routine and seasonal deep‑cleaning tasks as needed.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Pick up trash, debris, and litter throughout the property and dispose of it properly on a daily basis.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Assist with general maintenance tasks and support the maintenance team with service requests when needed.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Provide support during resident events, community functions, and onsite activities.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Identify and report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or areas needing attention to the appropriate team members.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Follow all safety procedures and maintain equipment in proper working condition.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Qualifications&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, custodial work, or a related field preferred but not required.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, walking, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and property appearance.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team‑focused environment.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Basic understanding of cleaning methods, tools, and safe material handling (or willingness to learn).</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members.</span></p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>About Cortland</strong></p> <p>Founded in 2005, Cortland is an international, vertically integrated multifamily real estate investment, development, and management firm with a resident-centric approach to living experiences.
