About this role

UWorld is a worldwide leader in online test prep for college entrance, undergraduate, graduate, and professional licensing exams throughout the United States. Since 2003, over 2 million students have trusted us to help them prepare for high-stakes examinations.
We are seeking a Graphic Designer with up-to-date design knowledge to work across various departments to design solutions with high visual impact. The ideal candidate will specialize in high-impact visual storytelling, turning complex information into clear visuals including but not limited to sales digital ads, presentations, social media, collateral, email campaigns, logos, web page layouts, and tradeshow displays.
Responsibilities:
Work with Sales and Marketing departments to create new and edit existing ads (print & digital), brochures/collateral, logos, trade show materials, info graphics, etc.
Prepare design files for both digital and print production, meticulously handling tasks like resizing, file optimization, color management, and quality checks to meet technical specifications
Design and produce high-volume presentations for internal and external audiences
Develop presentation templates, slide libraries, and reusable visual assets to ensure efficiency and brand consistency.
Apply AI-powered design tools to streamline workflows and enhance creative output.
Transform complex content into visually engaging graphics, infographics, charts, and data visualizations.
Produce and edit product screenshots and mockups to showcase our content
Work with Development to collaborate on assets for web and mobile design applications
Assist internal clients in determining the correct design to go along with messaging
Review and proofread designs for errors before printing or publishing
Think creatively to develop new design concepts, graphics, and layouts
Enforce and adhere to UWorld’s brand standards

Requirements:
Minimum of 5+ years of graphic design experience
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field
A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design skills and styles required with application
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate and present design concepts clearly
Expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite design programs (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign), Canva, Google Slides, and PowerPoint
Strong production experience on print and digital projects
Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics, layout, and typography
Knowledge of web design principles and best practices, including responsive design and creating assets for digital platforms
Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to create designs that are artistically interesting and appealing to the target audience
Strong organizational, time-management, and self-motivation skills
Experience creating animated graphics, GIFs, and short videos
UI/UX design experience
Familiarity with AI-powered design tools and the ability to leverage them to enhance the creative workflow and efficiency

Soft Skills:
Excellent interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to articulate ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively, along with ability to understand direction and accept feedback
Strong leadership skills with specific experience managing product priorities, setting delivery expectations, and delivering software enhancements on schedule
Organization skills, including situational leadership, technical leadership, high attention to detail, and proven ability to resolve field escalations with minimal impact on production schedules
Ability to work effectively within a changing environment experiencing high growth
Exceptional follow-through, personal drive, and desire to make a difference
