You’ll play a central role in delivering high-quality patient care across multiple therapeutic areas through both <strong>asynchronous (message-based)</strong> and <strong>synchronous (video/phone)</strong> consultations and act as the <strong>clinical escalation point for our pharmacist prescribers.</strong></p> <p>You’ll balance safe, evidence-led practice with the agility of a fast-moving digital team, helping shape the future of how healthcare is delivered online include use of <strong>use new digital tools and AI</strong> to enhance consultation quality, customer experience, and clinical efficiency.</p> <p><strong>What you'll be responsible for</strong></p> <ul> <li>Review patient consultations, medical histories, and biomarkers and provide comprehensive advice both written and verbally</li> <li>Prescribe safely within your clinical competence, following established protocols</li> <li>Request further information when needed and document concise, compliant clinical notes</li> <li>Provide patient advice via chat, email or phone, and recommend next steps</li> <li>Support and guide pharmacist prescribers, ensuring consistently high clinical standards, and be a point of escalation for complex patients</li> <li>Ensure compliance with GMC, GPhC, and CQC regulations</li> <li>Contribute to audits, quality improvement, and development of digital clinical pathways</li> <li>You’ll also be <strong>excited to use new digital tools and AI</strong> to enhance consultation quality, customer experience, and clinical efficiency.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>About you (Who you are)</strong></h3> <p><strong>Skills & Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>GMC-registered GP with a valid UK licence to practise.</li> <li>Proven experience in primary care and telemedicine or digital health mandatory</li> <li>Strong understanding of GLP-1 agonist therapy, weight management, and other common direct-to-consumer treatment areas (e.g., hair loss)</li> <li>Familiar with biomarkers beyond NHS scope</li> <li>Skilled at using technology to deliver care and communicate with patients, in both written and synchronous formats to deliver clear, patient-friendly medical advice</li> <li>Comfortable working autonomously within a bespoke digital platform and adhering to clinical governance frameworks; previous experience in a scale-up a bonus</li> <li>Curious about technology and how tools like AI can enhance patient care</li> <li>Committed to patient safety, evidence-based practice, and continuous improvement</li> </ul> <p><strong>Behaviours & Attitudes</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Acts like an owner</strong> – You take full responsibility for workforce and patient outcomes, knowing when to lead from the front and when to empower others to deliver their best work.</li> <li><strong>Relentlessly patient-first</strong> – You’re deeply motivated to improve care quality and patient outcomes.
