OVERALL FUNCTION The Fundraising Ads Account Strategist is a freelance, production-focused role responsible for building and trafficking Meta advertising for a portfolio of Democratic PACs, organizations, elected officials, and candidates. The majority of this role's time will be spent on hands-on ad production, trafficking and reporting within Facebook Ads Manager. Broader strategic responsibilities - including spend recommendations, performance optimization, and new client launches - will be introduced through training. Reports to: Digital Director Term: Freelance, ASAP through 12/1/2026 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Ad Production (primary focus)

Build and traffic Meta ads across client portfolio

Set up and manage audiences and targeting per campaign specifications

Maintain strong attention to detail across the full ad setup and click-to-donate conversion funnel, including UI/UX

Monitor day-to-day ad delivery and performance

Make recommendations on spend and performance goals within Facebook Ads Manager

Growth Areas

Assist in tracking client spend and compiling results reporting

Support new client launches, including creating Facebook pages, importing data, building initial audiences, and setting up pixel tracking

Explore additional platforms, including Google / SEO ads

Drafting ad copy and creative concepts

QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge and Skills

Knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager, including hands-on experience producing and trafficking Meta ads

Ad optimization and strategy

Strong attention to detail

Comfort following established processes and creative direction with precision

Commitment to progressive causes and electing Democratic candidates nationwide

Experience

2+ years of hands-on experience trafficking / producing paid Meta ads

Experience managing budgets or performance optimization

Mandatory: Facebook account with a confirmed identity to run ads about social issues

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Experience with Google / SEO ads

Experience with Democratic digital fundraising tools including ActBlue, ActionKit, and NGP VAN

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Term: Freelance, ASAP through December 1, 2026 Pay: $38/hour Location: Remote. Work Environment: May range from 5-20 hours/week, with at least 5 hours/week falling within 10am–6pm ET, Monday–Friday.
