About the Role

We are looking for a mid-level Full-Stack Engineer who is equally comfortable on the front end and the back end. You will be working with React to build responsive, high-performance web interfaces and PHP to develop the server-side logic and APIs that power them. You take ownership of your work across both layers and care about how they fit together, not just your slice of it.

What You Will Be Doing

• Building and maintaining web applications using React, with attention to performance, component architecture, and user experience

• Developing server-side logic, RESTful APIs, and backend services in PHP

• Integrating front-end and back-end systems cleanly, ensuring data flows reliably between layers

• Working with relational databases to design, query, and optimise data structures

• Collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams to turn requirements into working software

• Participating in code reviews and contributing to shared engineering standards

• Troubleshooting and resolving issues across the full stack

• Writing clean, well-documented, and testable code with maintainability in mind

What You Bring

Essential:

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on full-stack development experience

• Strong proficiency in React including component design, state management, and performance optimisation

• Solid PHP development skills including RESTful API design and server-side logic

• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL

• Comfortable working with Git in a collaborative development environment

• Strong problem-solving ability with the confidence to debug across both front end and back end

• Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams

Advantageous:

• Experience in fintech, trading platforms, or regulated financial services

• Exposure to cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices

• Experience with front-end and back-end testing frameworks

• Knowledge of TypeScript
