About this role

ABOUT CHATBASE

Chatbase is the AI agent platform powering millions of customer conversations for 12,000+ of the most recognizable brands and companies across the world.

We launched in 2023 shortly after ChatGPT, and established ourselves as the most popular Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) chatbot on the market. Today, Chatbase is a comprehensive AI agent platform used by modern support, marketing, and sales teams.

We're bootstrapped, profitable, and recently crossed $10M ARR. There is no better time to join.

HOW WE WORK

→ High ownership, high output. Everyone on the team owns outcomes end-to-end. We work best with individuals who are precise, fast, and great at unblocking themselves.

→ Critical feedback is a gift. We give feedback directly and receive it without ego. Don't take it personally. It's how we get better.

→ Customer-obsessed. We make an effort to talk to all our customers and relentlessly provide value to each of them.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a founding AE role reporting directly to the Head of GTM. You'll carry a sales quota and own a full-cycle sales motion for enterprise customers: prospecting, qualifying, demoing, and closing your own deals. Product and engineering will support you, but it's on you to identify opportunities and take them to the finish line.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

→ 2+ years in tech sales (BDR/SDR, AE), startup ops, or other high-performance environments.

→ Track record of consistently exceeding goals.

→ Strong communicator with a deep curiosity to learn.

LOGISTICS

This role is in-office, five days a week, in downtown Toronto. We offer uncapped commissions and generous early equity in our bootstrapped & profitable startup.
