FIX Integration & Client Onboarding Engineer (Electronic Trading)

About this role

Role summary
Client onboarding for our electronic trading platform. This role requires hands-on technical expertise in client onboarding, driving process improvements, and serving as an escalation point for complex integrations.
The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the FIX protocol, FIX Integration, certification, and electronic trading workflows, along with the client-facing skills needed to manage relationships with top-tier financial institutions.

What you’ll do

• Set up FIX connectivity and complete certification with clients.

• Manage complex integrations from test to production go-live.

• Validate order routing, workflows, and post-trade allocations.

• Coordinate with trading desks and technical stakeholders.

• Improve onboarding playbooks, timelines, and documentation.

• Handle escalations.

Must-have

• Bachelor’s or Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field.

• 3+ years in FIX integration/client onboarding.

• Strong hands-on experience with FIX (4.2/4.4/5.0) and Multi-asset workflows (equities, futures, options, FX, etc.).

• Deep knowledge of trading regulations, exchange rules, and evolving FIX standards to keep onboarding processes current.

• Clear, confident communication with technical and business teams.

• Experience across equities or futures workflows.

• Problem-solving under time pressure.

Nice-to-have

• Exposure to OMS/EMS tools and connectivity logs.

• Basic scripting/SQL and Python Expert.
