Finance Manager (Education)

About this role

• Partner with Business Unit Managers and Centre Supervisors to analyse business performance, set financial targets, and provide insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.

• Oversee finance operations including review of payments, claims, and financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to internal controls and approval processes.

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities, including preparation of management reports and presentation materials for Board and business unit meetings.

• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies to ensure timely completion of audit, tax, ECDA requirements, and statutory reporting obligations.

• Drive process improvement and system enhancement initiatives, including Power BI reporting, automation, and collaboration with vendors to strengthen efficiency, controls, and data integrity.
Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in finance and administration, with exposure to budgeting, reporting, and audit coordination.

• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable business insights.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systems; experience with Power BI or automation tools is an advantage.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across business units, auditors, and external partners.
