While much of the industry remains in R&amp;D, we deliver real, production-ready autonomy that is already operating in the field. <br><br>We are on a mission to make mining operations safer, smarter, and more efficient through cutting-edge technology, and we are building toward becoming the world’s first profitable AV technology company.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What you’ll do</strong><strong><br></strong><strong><br></strong>The <strong>Field Services Technician </strong>is a hands-on role, responsible for the installation, preventive maintenance, and repair of Pronto's advanced technology solutions across a range of customer locations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring successful deployment and optimal performance of Pronto equipment in the field.</p> <h4><strong>Installation &amp; Deployment</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Electrical and mechanical Scoping of Construction and Mining equipment</li> <li>Perform on-site installation of Pronto hardware and software solutions, including sensor systems, DBW kits, power integration, and vehicle interfaces.</li> <li>On site installation of peripheral hardware such as network stations, gate systems and office infrastructure.</li> <li>Conduct system calibrations and validation tests to ensure installations meet operational standards.</li> <li>Collaborate with Engineering and Customer teams to ensure field deployments align with specifications and best practices.</li> <li>Collaborate with engineering on R&amp;D projects&nbsp;</li> <li>Coordinate with customer teams on training and technical maintenance</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h4><strong>Preventive Maintenance</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure system health, reliability, and long-term performance.</li> <li>Monitor and log equipment conditions, identifying signs of wear, degradation, or environmental impacts.<br><br></li> </ul> <h4><strong>Troubleshooting &amp; Repair</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Diagnose and repair hardware, software, and connectivity issues in the field.</li> <li>Utilize diagnostic tools and logs to identify root causes and implement fixes with minimal downtime.</li> <li>Communicate findings clearly to engineering teams for deeper analysis and continuous improvement.<br><br></li> </ul> <h4><strong>Customer Support</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Serve as the face of Pronto during on-site visits, maintaining professional and responsive communication with customer personnel.</li> <li>Provide basic training to customer staff when required.</li> <li>Document all service activities, updates, and issues using internal ticketing and CRM tools.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we’re looking for</strong></p> <h4><strong>Required</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Advanced degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering or other relevant discipline</li> <li>5+ years of experience in field service, automotive electronics, mechatronics, or a similar technical support role.</li> <li>Proficiency with hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and electrical testing tools.</li> <li>Solid understanding of vehicle systems (power, CAN bus, sensors, ECUs).</li> <li>Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and follow technical documentation.</li> <li>Comfortable working independently in field environments and with minimal supervision.</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li> <li>Willingness to travel up to 75% to customer sites.</li> <li>Based in Arizona, Florida, Texas or Wyoming<br><br></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h4><strong>Preferred</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Experience with autonomous vehicle systems, heavy equipment, machine control, robotics, or complex sensor integrations.</li> <li>Familiarity with Linux-based systems and remote diagnostics.</li> <li>OSHA 10 or equivalent safety certification.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.</li> <li>Capable of standing, bending, and working in and around vehicles for extended periods.</li> <li>Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.<br><br></li> </ul> <p><strong>Why join us&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Work on real, production-deployed autonomy.</li> <li>Build technology that directly improves safety, efficiency, and productivity.</li> <li>Tackle complex challenges in demanding, real-world environments.</li> <li>Be part of a fast-moving team with high ownership and impact.</li> <li>See your work deployed and making a difference in the field.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with experienced engineers and industry operators.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What else you need to know&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>As a company driven by innovation and…
